One of the most creative and innovative people of late to triumph on the world stage is Malcolm Gladwell, author of three wonderfully entertaining and educational books: Blink, The Tipping Point, and Outliers.
I have learned a lot about creativity from reading Gladwell’s books. Not only that, his way of writing, his way of carrying the reader on through complex ideas using compelling stories is inspiring. His chapter, “The Ethnic Theory of Plane Crashes” in Outliers, is one of the most remarkable chapters I’ve ever read in any book.
In this video, Gladwell links our human desire for choice with the explosion of various types of spaghetti sauces on the market.
I love this guy’s creativity. You can check more of his talks out here and links to his books at gladwell.com
