Over Memorial Day weekend, I returned to the Lightning in a Bottle Festival for the 4th time, this time as one of the presenters speaking on the 5 Essentials of Designing and Building Sacred Space.
It felt great to contribute in my own small way to the event and to know that I was but one among thousands of people who made it happen. The lineup of musicians, DJ’s, artists, designer, builders, performers, and speakers on a wide range of subjects made this event both joyously entertaining and profoundly educational. This is truly an example of the importance of interdependence and community in creativity. Hats off to Los Angeles-based, The Do LaB production company, who started the event several years ago and continue to make it better and better every year.
